Though the firm has been established in the recent years, the key professionals and associates have long worked in reputed government/ private agencies and executed many large-scale projects in the field of Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning and Design.
Bhutan is one of the fastest growing countries in the region and the rate of urbanization is comparatively significant. Hence, there is a genuine demand for professionals in the field of Architecture, Engineering and Urban Planning. These Professionals are required to better shape and provide sound solutions for the current and future needs of our towns and cities.
White Cypress Associates principle, Sailesh Humagai, has studied Bachelors of Architecture (1996-2001) and holds a Masters Degree in Urban Development and Design (2006-2008). Over these years of experience in the field of Architecture and Planning, he has been associated with the Thimphu Thromde as Head of Development Control Division and Chief Urban Planner.
After serving in the government for almost fourteen years in various capacities, he worked as the CEO and Co partner of a leading private consulting firm, United Consultancy. He has worked and accomplished many big projects in the field of Architecture, Engineering and Planning. He has also associated with some of the International Organization and worked as a consultant to ADB.
OBJECTIVES
